J. Edwards show support for Macmillan charity!

A coffee morning organised by J.Edwards Funeral Directors in Waterlooville, was held at St Georges Church Hall in Waterlooville on the 23rd of September. Many treats were on offer from a wide variety of refreshments to a wonderful selection of homemade cakes and biscuits. In order to raise additional funds the team at J. Edwards Funeral Directors incorporated a raffle full of prizes, a book stall, bring and buy stall and a stall selling hand made jewellery and cards.

The coffee morning was a great success and so busy that at some stages all seats were occupied by members of the Waterlooville and Havant community which included the Clergy, local children and past clients of the funeral home. The Mayor of Havant was also in attendance at the event to show his support for the Macmillan charity.

J. Edwards Funeral Directors were delighted that in two hours they raised £269.57. Funeral Co-ordinator Sharon Smith from J. Edwards commented “We hope the money raised will help in some small way to the work that this wonderful charity provide”.
